Wasn't going to bother but after doing the jobs required for MOT on the van just had to have a looksee ... 10-13 knots on the windy at top of beach, another fella rigging up for his debut sail after a long lay off through injury ... Techno 283 & a 6.7m rig.

Went and said hi, wasn't going to bother, but it was sunny and there was some wind, albeit not lots .... decided to sail so George (yes, we introduced ourselves like normal people do) wasn't sailing alone on his '06 debut ... Manta 75 & 8.5m GTX and planed majority of the time though was all pretty marginal except for the odd gust I hooked into, Garmin showed a max speed 20.3 knots.

Not a classic, but a bonus, as ever, to get out in the nice weather - bit more wind tomorrow would be nice
